They start to love each other, and this top-rated romantic Chinese drama on Netflix is super popular for a reason – a talented cast, swoony romance, and an amazing plotline.

In 2012, at Yucai Middle School, a happy transfer student named Su Zai Zai arrived.
Fan Xian, a guy from ancient Southern Qing with memories from our time, sets out on a mission to figure out his mother’s past.
Raised by his grandma, he’s got a unique upbringing, and when he gets to the capital, he meets Lin Wan Er and they hit it off.
Little does he know, they’re destined to oversee the Royal Treasury together, but life gets complicated with palace politics.
It makes him reflect on who he really is and what he’s meant to do which ultimately leads to him trading the easy life for a deeper purpose.

4. Love Like The Galaxy
Ling Bu Yi, a skilled and tough general, is on a mission to uncover a painful past.
He crosses paths with Cheng Shao Shang, a spirited young woman who grew up neglected.
Her parents, warriors, return after years away, and though their reunion is a bit distant, Shao Shang is determined to live for herself.
Her boldness and smarts grab attention, especially from Ling Bu Yi, who’s taken by her spirit, and what follows is a lively and sweet romance between the two.
In this interesting top-rated romantic set in a small town, Xu Hong Dou, a city woman from the hotel industry, faces a crisis after her best friend’s death.
Struggling with work, she decides to escape to Yun Miao village in Yunnan for peace.
Life there, with animal-filled fields, isn’t what she expected, and she finds balance and meets others from the city seeking tranquility, including Xie Zhi Yao, who left a well-paid job to promote Yun Miao.
They team up, and as they work together, love starts to blossom in this serene village.
6. Love Between Fairy & Devil
Dongfang Qing Cang, once of the Moon Tribe, became a ruthless monster with immense power.
He caused havoc, endangering realms like Shuiyuntian, Cangyan Sea, and Yunmeng Lake.
So, the first God of War sacrificed herself to seal him away and only the missing Goddess of Xishan can prevent his return.
Thousands of years later, Orchid, a humble flower fairy, stumbles into Haotian Tower and encounters Dongfang Qing Cang, setting off a perilous chain of events.
In 18th-century Beijing, Wei Ying Luo enters the Forbidden City to uncover the truth about her sister’s rape and murder.

This drama follows aerospace engineer Yu Tu and celebrity Qiao Jing Jing.
To save her endorsement deal, Qiao starts gaming and reunites with her old crush, Yu Tu, a skilled gamer, and they start working together to shine in the gaming world.
But, when a video of Qiao’s poor gameplay leaks, threatening her image, she enters a competition to prove herself.
Through dedication, she reconnects with Yu Tu, asking him to be her gaming coach, rekindling their old connection.
A millennium after the celestial battle, the Star of Mosha and God of War’s souls are sent to the mortal realm as punishment.
Chu Xuan Ji, deprived of her senses, meets Yu Si Feng at a tournament and they form a bond and even promise to reunite but face challenges.
Si Feng returns with a life-threatening mask, while Xuan Ji trains in martial arts.
Four years later, their past lives’ memories resurface, uncovering secrets across a demon, heavenly, and mortal realms.
These revelations strain their relationship and disrupt the balance in all three realms.
12. The Long Ballad
In 626 C.E., the Xuanwu Gate Incident shook Chang’an as a prince seized the Tang Dynasty’s throne.
Li Chang Ge, who lost her family in the coup, seeks revenge and raises an army.
But, she faces defeat against the Eastern Turkic Khaganate. General Ashile Sun, her conqueror, keeps her as a strategist, and they form a strong military partnership.
As they work together, they both grapple with developing feelings for each other, complicating their relationship.
This is another top-rated romantic Chinese drama that’s simply stunning in every way that counts and if you want a gem that will draw you in for hours, I can’t recommend this more.
In the divided world of Dahuang, Xiyan and Chenrong were at war, with General Princess leading Xiyan to victory, and she left behind her daughter, Xiao Yao, and nephew, Cang Xuan.
Separated, Xiao Yao endured hardships and, 300 years later, changed her gender and identity, running a clinic as Wen Xiao Liu.
In a town beyond Xiyan and Haoling’s control, she encounters a diverse group, including a servant, a wine-maker, and a demon military advisor.
These meetings in Qingshiui Town set the stage for significant changes in Dahuang’s future.
14. One and Only
Zhou Sheng Chen, raised by his brother the Emperor, becomes a loyal general.
And Cui Shi Yi, once betrothed to the Crown Prince, loses her voice due to political intrigue.
When the terms change, she’s engaged to the sickly future Crown Prince, and Zhou Sheng Chen takes her as his disciple to ease tensions.
Cui Shi Yi then moves to Zhou Manor, and despite their differences, they form a strong bond, but their principles and palace politics complicate their relationship, risking further entanglement in power struggles.
