Right from when I was a kid and I would be semi-permanently lodged in front of my television watching Tribulations of the Mu Clan, Chinese dramas have always been a haven. 

That’s to say, I turn to Chinese dramas when I need a pick-me-up, and they never, never fail – except on the rare occasion that I pick a particularly sorrowful drama with a sad ending. 

What I’m saying in essence is that, if you’re looking for dramas that have a special way of brightening your day, there’s nothing quite like indulging in some much-needed fluffiness where the happily-ever-after is guaranteed.

Sang Zhi has a big crush on Duan Jia Xu, and it all started when he came to her home to play games with her older brother. 

They had a sort of camaraderie when she was younger, but they lost contact and reunited when she started attending the university in his hometown.

Naturally, they started hanging out more and then they fell in love, and this beautiful Cdrama gave me so many indescribable warm and fuzzy feelings. 

Aside from this drama being one of the latest romantic Cdrama releases, the happy ending made the whole drama worth it.

I’ll recommend this drama if you’re looking for an interesting Cdrama on Netflix where the leads end up together.

They clash initially but soon develop deeper feelings, and while this is happening, Qing Qing seeks answers about her parents’ demise and hopes for true love.

3. Believe In Love

Lu Yue Er, a friendly 17-year-old girl, manages a noodle restaurant on a beautiful island. 

She falls for Hua Yi Nan, a 20-year-old leader with hidden problems. 

And, although Hua Yi Nan starts with mixed intentions, Lu Yue Er believes in him and they marry. 

With support, Hua Yi Nan discovers his genuine love for Lu Yue Er, and this is an excellent pick if you’re looking for a Chinese drama with a happy ending to watch in 2023.

A popular singer named Liu Xing Yu quits his music career due to false rumors, and he starts afresh on a university campus as Xin Yu.

To solve a crisis, two real estate industry leaders, Gu Ling Se and Ye Cheng Shu, pretend to be engaged for business reasons.

In the competitive world of e-sports, the ZGDX OPL team, famous for its male players, is unmatched. 

They have many female fans, but when a star player gets hurt, the team’s tough captain, Lu Si Cheng, takes time to pick a replacement. 

Tong Yao, a skilled female gamer who loves OPL, is approached by the team’s manager, as they want her as the first female player for PR. 

Lu Si Cheng is unsure at first but later agrees to have her as a substitute, and his decision divides fans. 

But, as they spend more time together, a closer bond develops between them, and what follows is an utterly delightful romantic story with a satisfying conclusion that made my eyes water.

7. Timeless Love

Cheng Feng owns a bookshop but had to give up her dance dream after an accident. 

She meets Jiang Dian, a kind young person pressured by his family, and they help each other grow and heal as they stay together.

Timeless Love is easily a can’t-miss Cdrama with a happy ending that I genuinely feel everyone should watch at least once, and I can assure you that it’s pure happiness. 

8. Chasing Ball

Yan Xiao Xi is an amazing table tennis player who attends Tengyuan College.

One day, she meets Qi Jing Hao, a cool guy who leads the Ping Pong club, and he asks her to join, knowing they’ll become a strong team. 

Soon enough, they uncover a secret from 20 years ago, and by playing together, they help bring back the greatness of Tengyuan.

9. Afterlife of Love and Revenge

Pang Long Yue, a strong-willed wife in Qing Shui County, deeply cares for her husband. 

In her past life, she was falsely accused and mistreated, even though Li Qing Mu was kind to her. 

Unfortunately, she died bitter after being manipulated to leave her husband. 

Now reborn, she’s determined to value her love and make her enemies regret mistreating her.

I know it might not sound like it, but this Chinese drama had a well-deserved good ending that made me giddy with happiness – Long Yue deserved it.

10. Love The Way You Are

Yin Yi Ke, a woman with a seemingly perfect life, has always cared for others but not herself. 

Her life changes when she reconnects with Xu Guang Xi, a young man who used to visit her for meals. 

Xu Guang Xi, now attracted to her, faces challenges in pursuing her due to their fast-paced lives, so he works to become more mature and gets closer to Yi Ke. 

They’ve both faced challenges and choices, but their love grows as they support and respect each other’s growth.

11. City of Streamer

In early 20th century Shanghai, as warlords gain power, heroes rise and revolutions stir. 

The influential Rong family misuses their wealth for crimes, and seeking justice, Feng Shi Zhen infiltrates the Rong family, becoming tutor to Rong Jia Shang. 

While testing each other, she falls for him, but when old injustices emerge, they unite to unveil the shocking truth.

I completely fell in love with all the characters in this Chinese historical drama with a happy ending, and I can tell you for a fact that the final episode will ensure you go to bed with a smile on your face.

12. She And Her Perfect Husband

Qin Shi, a focused lawyer, needs to be married to join a law firm, so her brother pretends she’s married without her knowing. 

She impresses the firm’s founder and gets recommended for a role, and it’s only then she realizes she’s married.

Her so-called husband, Yang Hua, appears and they pretend to be a couple, and then they decide to actually get married, but their parents are suspicious. 

Soon enough, Qin Shi’s ex-boyfriend joins the firm, and amidst various work-related and family-related challenges, she and Yang Hua develop feelings for each other.

13. Well-Intended Love 

Xia Lin, a struggling actress with leukemia, marries Ling Yi Zhou, a CEO in need of a girlfriend, secretly for a bone marrow transplant to save her career. 

They face many challenges – like the presence of various nefarious characters, lingering love interests, and even amnesia –  but ultimately find real love with each other.

Well-Intended Love is also another beautiful, modern romantic Chinese drama that has a happy ending, and watching the leads fall in love and chase their happily ever afters was the most beautiful thing. 

14. Once We Get Married

Gu Xi Xi, a fashion shopper with a home-based online shop, buys wedding dresses from Alex for her clients. 

And, one day, she meets Yin Si Chen, a shrewd business president, during a business discussion with Alex. 

An incident leads to a temporary contract marriage between them to benefit Alex, and despite their different personalities, they eventually fall in love in this Chinese drama adapted from the web novel Contract Wife Runs Away from the CEO by Nian Hua Fu Liu.

15. Time To Fall In Love

Su Yan Xi replaces her twin to make a sick grandmother happy by pretending to be in a relationship with wealthy president Gu Xi Cheng. 

And, her cheerful nature warms his heart, but her hidden identity causes problems, as she can’t confess the truth due to constraints.

This is also another modern romantic Chinese drama with a happy ending that I simply feel was delightful to watch, and the chemistry between the leads was scorching.

16. Familiar Stranger

Shen Qin, the Prime Minister’s daughter, is supposed to marry General Xiao Han Sheng, but she loves Prince Ning. 

To avoid the marriage, she swaps faces with artist Shi Qi using magic, so Shi Qi becomes Shen Qin and is forced to marry Xiao Han Sheng. 

Shi Qi knows Xiao Han Sheng from before, and she pretends to be Shen Qin, but Prince Ning becomes interested in her too, making things tricky.

17. Nothing But You

Jiang Li Li, seen as a “loser,” pretends to be her twin sister due to an accident. 

She’s inspired by her successful sister’s life and aims for self-improvement, leading to finding love. 

Based on Zuo Tong’s novel He Came Against the Light, I loved the character growth in this must-watch Cdrama with a happy ending and I think you’ll enjoy it if you’re looking for a drama with the kind of ending that will warm your heart.

Lin Yu and Chen An An, once high school deskmates, meet again after eight years and live together. 

Despite their different personalities, they often support each other. 

What they don’t know, though, is that a wonderful fate named “Vivian” has already connected them, leading them to fall in love, and they’ll eventually, they’ll say goodbye to “Vivian” and become better versions of themselves.

19. Love In A Loop

Bai Zhen Xiang, a mean boss, keeps dying due to his employees’ anger. 

This resets time to the same day, trapping worker Li Lu Duo in a loop. 

To escape, she interacts with Zhen Xiang, and while trying to change him, they fall in love with each other.

In this interesting Chinese drama with a happy ending, Zhao Jiang Yue is the boss of a tech company, known for being tough but not great at love.

Her company launches a quick dating app, and a laid-back guy named Gu Jia Xin, from the company’s owning family, becomes her assistant.

They start badly but later he helps her win someone’s heart, and they both start liking each other.

21. To Fly With You

Shen Zheng Yi, a passionate ice skater, secretly joins Zhu Feng Sports Club to become a pro short track speed skater. 

She overcomes challenges, learns new techniques, and wins her teammates’ trust with her friend’s help. 

And, she even bonds with her coach and shows that two generations of skaters never give up on their dreams.

This sports drama is another modern romantic Chinese drama with a happy ending that tugged at my heartstrings, and I feel would be perfect for anyone who wants a light-hearted watch. 

22. My Dear Guardian

In this heartwarming drama, a kind military medic, Xia Chu, and a tough officer, Liang Muze, meet while fulfilling their duties, and unexpectedly find love. 

Xia Chu is a skilled surgeon who stays composed in challenging situations, while Liang Muze, a battle-hardened officer, has guarded his heart due to past pain. 

My Dear Guardian is adapted from the novel Round Fingers Under Military Uniforms by Zhe Zi Ma Yi, and you won’t regret watching it!
